After graduating ministry college, I assumed (with some relief) that I’d never preach again. I was anticipating a quiet season in Australia. But God had other plans! In 2024, Fr Rob Galea invited me to preach during his concert tour through India, and invitations to speak around the world have continued.

I’ve always loved stories. From fairy tales and folktales to sci-fi and fantasy novels, I’d read anything I could get my hands on growing up. There were Catholic books in the mix, too—Bible stories and lives of the saints. But for a long time, I thought all the best stories had nothing to do with God.

Hi, my name is Grace Foy, I’m 21 years old and I’m from Donegal, Ireland. I’ve just finished three years of mission with NET Canada.

I joined the Jesuits after undergrad in 2015. Through missionary activity, community life, and intense studies, the Jesuits have taught me how to grow in the joy and love of the Gospel. I am very much looking forward to ministering at a Parish and a Jesuit High School in Winnipeg this Fall.
