My parents struggled with loss and infertility before adopting my two siblings. But eleven months after my sister’s adoption was finalized, I was miraculously born! They named me for Saints Elizabeth and Anne, two women in Jesus' family who conceived later in life. God speaks in the details of our lives, and I've discovered my chosen-ness even from the moment of my conception.

Raised Catholic, I remember sitting in Mass thinking about God but not knowing that He was right there in front of me in the Holy Eucharist. Then I met the living Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration at a Confirmation retreat in high school and I've spent every day since falling more deeply in love with Him.

I wanted to teach special education since kindergarten, but nothing brought me life like talking about Jesus so I became a youth minister. The Lord was so patient with me, forming me on the job for the eleven years I served at one parish. I spent many hours in the Adoration chapel learning to let Him love me in my weakness, sin, and insecurity.

Then in 2016, @jennaguizar invited me to speak at the first @blessedisshe__ retreat where we became best friends and I became a BIS writer. One year later I followed Jesus out of the boat to work for BIS full time where I have the privilege of talking about God and walking with women every single day.

Jesus is the best and most interesting thing about me. My relationship with Him in prayer is everything to me and receiving Him daily in the Eucharist is the source of my life. I could highlight thousands of moments, graces, and miracles - too many to recount in an Instagram caption. But go before Him in the Blessed Sacrament, let Him love you, again and again, and you'll see what I mean.
